The Kremlin reacted to the victory of Truss: it seems that they are not satisfied there

Britain's steps in Moscow are considered “unpredictable” and “irrational”.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov reacted to >the victory of Liz Truss in the British Prime Minister's election, predicting a possible deterioration of relations between London and Moscow. His speech during the last briefing is quoted by rosZMI.

“She didn't say anything good about us. Moreover, we can say with regret that her statements were aggressive towards us, unfriendly and non-constructive. Based on this, we can assume that nothing will change in the near future perspective,” Peskov noted.

He added that the deterioration of relations cannot be ruled out, calling Britain's steps “unpredictable” and “irrational”.

“You need to be ready for any development,” Peskov concluded.
