Gavin Gray became the head of the mission in Ukraine.
The new head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission in Ukraine became Gavin Gray. This is stated in the official statement of the Fund's representative office in Ukraine.
The permanent representative of the IMF in Ukraine Vahram Stepanyan noted in the message: “Gavin Gray, a citizen of Great Britain, was appointed head of the IMF mission to Ukraine. Mr. Gray has significant experience in developing economies. He will replace this to the position of Ms. Ivanna Vladkova Hollar from September 20 of this year,” Stepanyan said.
We remind you that Ivanna Vladkova Hollar headed the IMF mission in Ukraine since May 2020.

Yesterday, IMF Managing Director Kristina Georgieva announced the start of work on a new long-term credit program for Ukraine. She did not name the parameters of the new IMF program, although she noted that while the program is being developed, the IMF is going to provide Ukraine with additional emergency financing. Its size will be the same as in March – about $1.4 billion.
