German Finance Minister Christian Lindner has advised German businesses using Russian gas to disagree with the Kremlin's terms on payment for supplies fuel in rubles.
On Bloomberg Television, the head of the German Ministry of Finance stressed that the euro and dollar agreements must be respected.
” Contracts are contracts. If they are in euros and dollars, then private sector companies have to pay in that currency, “Lindner said.
