The Government of Ukraine recommended to start the school year in schools from September 1, and in universities, except for first-year students, from August 15, said Prime Minister Denis Shmygal at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday.

“The school year will begin September 1 in person. The issue is difficult because it is related to the safety of our children, “said the Prime Minister.

He added that in the frontline and occupied territories, the new school year will begin online./p>

In other territories, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, and regional military administrations have been instructed to organize the transportation of children to schools and security in educational institutions.
