The German Bundestag approved the proposal by a majority of votes on the supply of weapons to Ukraine, including heavy weapons. According to the country's parliament, 586 deputies supported the request, 100 voted against and seven abstained.
The decision was preceded by an hour-long debate. In particular, the proposal was supported by the ruling coalition parties and the CDU/CSU opposition bloc.
