“This is about the fact that, as in the case of the first infected with the coronavirus, it is important for doctors to understand the course of the disease, symptoms, treatment methods. It was decided to hospitalize the patient for this very reason,” he noted.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health stated that they would not name the place of registration of the disease in order to fully ensure the patient's comfort and avoid harassment.

< p>Cousin noted that in July, 5,000 PCR tests for the diagnosis of monkeypox were delivered to Ukraine, so there is an opportunity to detect the disease in each of the regions.

“If a person observes symptoms similar to monkey pox: a rash in the form of blisters, in particular on the face, temperature, headache, etc., it is necessary to seek medical help, using means of anti-epidemic protection (protective mask, gloves, etc.) , so as not to infect others,” he recommended.

At the same time, the sanlikar added that sometimes people first have a rash, and then other symptoms of the disease. In general, the disease usually lasts from two to four weeks.

“Currently, there are no prerequisites for a significant spread of this disease,” – assured Kuzin, adding that there is currently no need for vaccination against monkeypox in Ukraine, ” taking into account the low probability of further spread of this disease”.
