David Beasley, director of the UN World Food Program, believes that blocking Ukrainian ports is a problem around the world.
The fate of billions of people depends on Ukrainian food. This statement was made on Twitter by the Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Program, David Beasley.
“Food must come in and out of Ukraine. Ports must reopen. Millions, if not billions, of lives are at stake, and we are running out of time – the world demands it,” wrote David Beasley.

It will be recalled that about 4.5 million tons of grain remain blocked in Ukrainian ports. There is no possibility to export grain, most sea routes are closed due to large-scale war. The situation is affecting the countries of the Middle East and Africa , where cheap bread from Ukraine is becoming one of the few ways to survive.
