The court seized gas stations and shares of the descendant of Lukoil in Ukraine

According to the version of the investigation, formally “Ukrainian” gas stations continued to work for Russia.

The court seized 308 real estate objects belonging to one of the largest networks of gas stations in Ukraine: gas stations, warehouses and land plots, the press service of the Bureau of Economic Security reports. The value of the seized corporate rights of the network reaches more than 50 million hryvnias.

According to the media, we are talking about the Amic Energy network, which previously belonged to the Russian Lukoil. BEB employees found out that the actual owner of two companies that sell fuel and lubricants is a citizen of the Russian Federation. And the companies themselves are interconnected.

The investigation established that during the years 2015-2022, enterprises artificially inflated costs by receiving loans from related structures and crediting them with interest on loans. Declaring unprofitable activities in Ukraine, the enterprises, at the same time, transferred premiums included in the cost of imported PMMs to the benefit of a foreign company.

Thus, the total amount of tax evasion by both companies is more than 270 million hryvnias.

BEB also established that during the years 2016-2021, these enterprises paid dividends in favor of non-resident companies, the owner of which is the aggressor country and a company from the Russian Federation. In this way, more than 1 billion hryvnias were legalized.

During the searches of the enterprises, agreements, contracts, credit agreements, expense invoices, acts of acceptance of the transfer of goods, cargo and customs declarations, account statements, invoices, documents on the payment of dividends in favor of non-residents, primary accounting documents.

The case was opened under the articles on tax evasion (Part 3 of Article 212) and on the legalization (laundering) of property obtained through criminal means (Part 3, Article 209) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
