Ilya Kiva is on the international wanted list.
The court allowed a special investigation into former MP Ilya Kiva , who is suspected of treason and public calls to change Ukraine's borders. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General.
“With the participation of prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office, the court granted permission for a special pre-trial investigation into the former MP , suspected of public appeals to forcible change of power, encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, treason and propaganda of war (Part 3 of Article 109, Part 3 of Article 110, Part 1 of Article 111, Article 436, h .2 Article 436-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) “, – reported in the UCP.
It is specified that Kiva is already on the international wanted list .
According to the investigation, the former deputy, while in Russia, which launched a large-scale war against Ukraine, Kiva took part in one of the propaganda shows on Russian television. There, he publicly called on Russia's top leadership to forcibly change the constitutional order and seize state power in Ukraine.
“The suspect proposed to physically remove the President of Ukraine and other high-ranking state officials, and also publicly called for an aggressive war on the territory of our country,” the UCP added.
