The enemy is trying to take full control of Donetsk region.
Fierce battles for control over the Donetsk region continue in the east of Ukraine. The occupiers are attacking in several directions, but so far they cannot significantly advance. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed the assaults of the Russians near Ivano-Daryivka, Novosilka, Pokrovsky, Bakhmut and a number of other settlements. This is reported by the press service of the General Staff.
According to the information of the Ukrainian military, in the Bakhmut directionenemy artillery and tanks shelled the areas of Chasovoy Yar, Berestovo, Bakhmut, Bakhmutsky, Pereizny, Soledar, Spirny and other settlements. The enemy carried out assaults in the directions of Pokrovske – Bakhmut, Vidrodzhenye – Vershyn, Vuglehirska TPP – Zaitseve, but had no success.
In the Avdiiv direction >the Russians fired from barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Kurakhove, New York, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Opytne, Maryinka, Vodyane, Krasnohorivka and Novobakhmutivka. Assault aircraft hit near Maryinka. Offensive actions were carried out in the directions of Novoselivka Druga – Krasnohorivka and Spartak – Avdiivka, they were unsuccessful and were pushed back. On the Donetsk – Pisky and Novoselyvka – Oleksandropil lines, hostilities continue.
On the Novopavlovsk< /strong> and Zaporizhia directions the enemy shelled positions from barrel, jet artillery and tanks in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka, Prechistivka, Vugledar, Bogoyavlenka, Novopil, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipilske, Olgivske and other settlements. Towards Storozhovo – Novosilka our soldiers successfully stopped the enemy offensive and pushed the invaders back.
