Ukraine received intelligence a few hours before the launch of missiles

Ukrainians were able to sink the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet cruiser “Moscow” thanks to intelligence received from the United States. This was reported by The New York Times, citing sources among senior US officials.

According to the publication, immediately after the strike, representatives of the Biden administration were silent and refused to confirm even the fact of the attack on “Moscow”. But later, US officials confirmed that a few hours before the launch of the Neptune missiles, Ukraine received data from the United States from US intelligence sources.

The NYT interlocutors did not specify what information was provided. However, according to one of them, “the information goes beyond a simple report on the ship's location in the Black Sea.”

It will be recalled that on the evening of April 13, it became known that Ukrainian Neptune missiles hit the cruiser Moscow, which was considered the flagship of the Russian Navy's Black Sea Fleet.
