Ukrainian defenders repel Russian invaders at several tactical directions, including in the territory of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi in his evening address.
According to him, it is already possible to notice how the Western artillery, received from international partners, has worked very powerfully on the territory of our state.
“Its accuracy is exactly as it should be. Our defenders inflict very noticeable blows on warehouses and other points that are important for the logistics of the occupiers. And this significantly reduces the offensive potential of the Russian army,” Zelenskyi said.
The head of state assured that the losses of Russian troops will increase every week, and the support of the occupiers will become increasingly difficult.
“Ukrainian forces are currently advancing in several tactical directions, in particular in the south – in the Kherson region, in the Zaporizhzhia region,” the president emphasized.
However, he noted that on July 6 it became known about the blocking by the invaders of social networks, messengers and YouTube for the residents of the territories temporarily occupied by them in the south of our country.
“Russian forces blocked any what an opportunity for people to know the truth about what is happening and about our potential, which we are gradually increasing,” Zelensky added.

The president emphasized that Ukrainians there should understand that the state will not give up its lands and return control over the entire sovereign territory. Therefore, he called on people to tell the residents of the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine about this in any way.
“If you have the opportunity to speak with people in the south of our country – with Kherson, Henichesk, Berdyansk, Melitopol and other cities and villages – please spread the truth there. Use every opportunity to tell the people in the occupied areas that we remember them and we are fighting for them,” said the head of state.
Zelensky repeated that Ukraine continues to fight for the entire south, Kharkiv Oblast and Donbas, where the most brutal fighting is currently taking place near Sloviansk and Bakhmut.
“Let the occupiers not think that their time on this land is long, and the advantage of their artillery is eternal,” concluded the President of Ukraine.
