Construction of houses for pregnant women has started in Lviv, who were forced to leave their homes due to the start of a large-scale invasion. Each house will have bedrooms, laundry, showers, toilets, living rooms, children's areas, kitchens, dining rooms and boilers, according to the Lviv City Council.
The project is implemented jointly with the Red Cross of Ukraine, which invests 26 million hryvnias, the temporary housing is designed for about 100 women. These are two two-storey houses with a total area of 1,300 square meters.
The construction is planned to be completed by July 15, says Mayor Andriy Sadovy. It is also planned to build a rehabilitation center for the wounded in Lviv.
