Every day thousands of Kharkiv residents return to their hometown.

About 600 thousand Kharkiv residents who left their homes due to the war have already returned home. This was announced by the head of the local OVA Oleg Sinegubov on the air of the FreeDOM TV channel.

In addition, many Kharkiv residents return home in their own cars.

According to Sinegubov, some residents of the city are still forced to stay in the subway because their homes were destroyed by Russian invaders. The official noted that currently the administration's priority is to provide them with temporary housing.

“4,200 people still live in the subway. We will use all opportunities to provide people with other temporary housing. In particular, we are considering the dormitories of universities, social institutions, etc., “said Sinegubov.
