Germany has often been criticized for being too cautious about supplying weapons to Ukraine even before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

On June 22, the German government published a detailed list of military aid given to Ukraine and the weapons that are planned to be transferred. Scholz also said that the protocols of the German defense industry need to be changed to speed up deliveries.

However, last week German Defense Minister Christina Lambrechtreported that the Bundeswehr has exhausted its reserves for aid to Ukraine. At the same time, Lambrecht promised that Germany would continue to support Ukraine “in other ways”.
