” Ferrero-Ukraine “informed the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection about the withdrawal from the Ukrainian market of certain batches of Kinder Schoko Bons and Kinder Surprise Maxi due to an outbreak of salmonella, told in the Kyiv department of the State Food and Consumer Services.
Salmonella (Salmonella Typhimurirum) was found in a separate batch of Belgian production, exported to Ukraine.
By law, if a market operator considers or has reason to believe that food imported into Ukraine does not meet safety requirements, it shall immediately initiate the procedure for removing these food products from circulation. This should be done within two days.
