Russians and Belarusians disconnected from Airbnb

From April 4, all bookings are automatically canceled.

Airbnb rental platform bans Russian users and Belarus to make reservations on the site. This is stated in the company's statement.

Back in early March, Airbnb warned about the cessation of all operations in the aggressor country and Belarus. All bookings in Russia and Belarus starting April 4, 2022 and later are now canceled.

This means that bookings in Russia and Belarus have been suspended, and guests from these countries will no longer be able to make bookings anywhere with the service.

“Calendars of ads in Russia and Belarus is blocked. It is no longer possible to receive new guests. Guests from Russia and Belarus are no longer able to make reservations on Airbnb, “the statement said.

It will be recalled that Russians will not be able to pay for rented accommodation now. On March 6, Visa and Mastercard payment systems officially announced that they were shutting down completely in Russia. Unexpectedly for themselves, Visa and MasterCard have caused major problems in Russia after blocking cards.
