It is unclear whether all the soldiers are leaving.
According to the United States, Russian troops are beginning to leave Chernobyl. This was reported by AFP, citing a source in the Pentagon.
“Chernobyl is one of the places where they start moving some of their troops – they are leaving Chernobyl for Belarus. We think they are leaving. But I can't tell you that they are all gone,” the source said.
It will be recalled that the occupiers captured the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on the first day of the full-scale war – February 24.
And only on March 20 there was a partial rotation of Chernobyl personnel and evacuation of persons who were on the territory of the occupied station.
