Russian hackers carried out a series of DDoS attacks on German government websites. The Killnet claimed responsibility for the cyberattacks, according to Der Spiegel. Also, according to the publication, the website of Chancellor Olaf Scholz was temporarily unavailable.

Der Spiegel writes that the cyberattacks were protests against the supply of weapons to Ukraine. However, the Federal Office for Information Security of Germany (BSI) said that such hacking attacks are not very sophisticated from a technological point of view and can be easily stopped with standard technology.
