Researchers of Russian war crimes will collect evidence of mass killings and destruction of civilian infrastructure in Bucha, Mariupol, Kharkiv, Mykolayiv and throughout Ukraine. They will be represented in the International Criminal Court, as well as in the prosecutor's offices of European countries. The video interview is planned to be conducted in zoom, with the participation of Ukrainian volunteers. At the same time, the testimony will be translated into Ukrainian and Russian for English for international bodies. In addition to eyewitness accounts, researchers will work with topographic maps, identify and record the exact locations of crimes.
It is stated that the International Criminal Court, as well as the prosecutor's offices of Germany, France, Belgium and other European countries, which have the right to investigate war crimes, cannot conduct their own investigative actions in Ukraine. Therefore, these investigative bodies will rely on the materials provided by the Ukrainian prosecutor's office and other plaintiffs. Evidence collected by non-governmental and independent organizations, such as Yahad-In Unum, will be of the greatest importance to European courts.

Father Patrick Debois, a French Catholic priest, has been investigating the Holocaust and other Nazi crimes since 2002. In 2004, he founded Yahad-In Unum to conduct more research. In two decades, Yahad-In Unum has visited more than 3,100 murder sites and discovered mass graves where about two million Jews and Roma killed in Eastern Europe are buried.
