The Russian army is trying to reach the administrative borders of the Kherson region to conduct attacks on Mykolayiv and Kryvyi Rih, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff added that on Volyn and Polissya directions Russian troops have not taken active action, but there is a threat of missile strikes on military and civilian infrastructure of Ukraine from the territory of Belarus. There is also a risk of provocations in settlements near the state border of Ukraine with accusations of Ukrainian army units.
In the Seversky direction < The aggressor fired at Ukrainian units near Senkivka. Russia conducted reconnaissance from a drone to clarify the position of Ukrainian troops in the Sumy direction.
In the Slobozhansky direction The enemy fired mortars at the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the areas of the settlements of Uda and Prudyanka, but the occupiers suffered losses in the area of the settlement of Staryi Saltiv.
In the Izyum direction , the aggressor tried to conduct offensive operations, but was defeated and suffered losses in manpower and equipment.
In the Donetsk and Tavriya directions , the occupiers tried to establish full control over the settlements of Rubizhne and Popasna, but also suffered defeats and losses.
The aggressor unsuccessfully carried out assaults in the settlements of Ozerne and Marinka, as well as suffered losses in the settlements of Vremivka and Zelene Pole.
< "The main efforts of the occupiers were focused on the Kryvyi Rih direction. They fired artillery at the positions of our units in the areas of Tavriya, Osokorivka, Trudolyubivka and Knyazivka," the statement reads.
In order to clarify the situation and identify the positions of Ukrainian units, the enemy conducted air reconnaissance with UAVs in the eastern part of Mykolayiv and north-western Kherson region.
“The Russian occupiers continue illegal actions against the citizens of Ukraine in the temporarily occupied territories. They prevent the free movement of our citizens to the territory of Ukraine not occupied by the Russians”, – added to the General Staff.
