Russia prepares occupation units in Transnistria for provocations on Ukraine's border – APU General Staff

Russia has intensified its efforts to involve units of Russian troops stationed in occupied Transnistria (Moldova) in carrying out provocations and demonstrations on the border with Ukraine, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said.

“The redeployment of Russian troops and units of the so-called” Transnistrian-Moldavian Republic “to prepare for a demonstration of readiness for the offensive and possibly hostilities against Ukraine was noted,” the statement said.
