After retreating approximately 20 km north of Kherson in early October, Russian troops are probably trying to establish a new front line west of the village of Mylove, according to British intelligence.
There has been heavy fighting along this line for some time, especially on the western flank, where the Ukrainian advance means that Russian troops are no longer protected by the Ingulets River. Most of the Russian troops on this front line are undermanned units of the Air Force.
“In recent days, the Russian occupation authorities probably ordered to prepare for the evacuation of some of the civilians of Kherson. Probably, they foresee the spread of hostilities to the city of Kherson itself”, – noted in British intelligence.
