MiG-29 combat aircraft will be used against Ukraine.
The Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defense of Belarus signed urgent contracts for carrying out repair and restoration works of aviation equipment. This is reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of Intelligence.
“In particular, employees of the 558th aircraft repair plant (Baranovichi) periodically go on business trips as part of “field groups” to carry out work on the restoration and commissioning of aviation equipment at 121 aircraft repair plant (Kubinka airbase territory),” the message says.
According to intelligence information, the work is mainly carried out on MiG-29 type aircraft and its modifications.
“With the available according to the information, the specialists of the Armed Forces of Belarus are carrying out work on their removal from storage and deconservation for further use in the war against Ukraine,” – emphasized the GUR.
Earlier it was reported that the Armed Forces of Belarus continued training until August 27. At the same time, August 21 has been declared a day off at all landfills.
