Russia has removed several of its key generals from Ukraine

Russia is likely to recall several generals from key command positions this month.

The UK Department of Defense said on Saturday that since early June, Russia's top command is likely to have removed several generals from key operational command posts in the war in Ukraine, the ministry said in a daily update on Twitter.

After weeks of fierce street fighting, Ukrainian forces were ordered to leave the city of Severodonetsk to reduce casualties and regroup.

Earlier it was reported that Russia's tactics do not depend on who leads its troops in the war against Ukraine. Most likely, there will be no changes after the death of Russian General Kutuzov.
