The battle for Mariupol exhausted Russian troops.

Russian troops have made little progress in some areas after switching forces to full occupation of Donbass, according to a regular bulletin from the British Ministry of Defense.

” Without sufficient logistics and military support, Russia has not yet made a significant breakthrough, “the statement said.

Mariupol's defense of Ukraine has also exhausted many Russian units and reduced their combat capability, British military intelligence said.
