Russia closes entry and exit from Crimea – General Staff

Serious battles continue in the Izyum and Donetsk directions.

Russian occupiers decided to completely block from April 30 in leaving and leaving the temporarily occupied Crimea so that its inhabitants could not avoid the spring conscription campaign. At the same time, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the strengthening of the group of enemy troops in the Zaporozhye direction was recorded – the measures of logistical support of the occupation troops were recorded.

At the same time, Russian troops concentrated 25 battalion tactical groups from the 1st Panzer Army, the 20th and 35th All-Military Armies and the 68th Army Corps of the Eastern Military District, and airborne troops of the Russian Armed Forces in the Izium area. The enemy is trying to advance in the direction of the settlement of Zavody, has reached the northern outskirts of Dibrovny and is trying to gain a foothold here.

Also, about seven battalion tactical groups from the 6th General Army, the coastal troops of the Baltic and Northern Fleets, continue to partially block the city of Kharkiv and carry out shelling of units of our troops and critical infrastructure.

Particularly active during the latter. days of fighting were in the Donetsk and Tavriya directions. In particular, there was an assault near the village of Zarichne and is trying to attack Rubizhne. Defensive battles continue near Novtoshkivsky and Popasna, and the occupiers are trying to storm Marinka with the support of artillery.

In the South Buz direction, after artillery shelling, the enemy tried to conduct reconnaissance in the area of ​​Trudolyubivka, suffered losses and retreated to previously occupied positions.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. According to the available information, on April 20 this year, another batch of wounded servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces (about 220 people) and more than 50 bodies of the dead invaders were taken to the Novoaidar Central District Hospital.

Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 58th General Army of the Southern Military District, which operated in the Kurakhiv direction, suffered significant losses in manpower (up to 250 people) and lost up to 10 units of jet and barrel artillery systems. According to the available information of the Armed Forces, the personnel of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th All-Military Army of the Southern Military District did not receive the so-called “combat” funds for March, which is why the servicemen express their dissatisfaction and indignation.
