In Ukraine, the bank accounts of Rosatom's subsidiary Rosatom Eastern Europe have been seized, the funds of which have been transferred to the management of the Investigation and Asset Management Agency. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office

The founder of Rosatom Eastern Europe, whose office is located in Kyiv, is a resident company of the Russian Federation with a share of 99.9%. The latter is 100% owned by OAO Atomic Energy Industry Complex. That, in turn, is 100% owned by the state atomic energy corporation Rosatom.
“Thus, the ultimate beneficial owner with a 100% stake in Rosatom Eastern Europe LLC is the state structure controlled by the Russian government, and therefore there is a significant risk in decision-making by Rosatom Eastern Europe LLC to the detriment of Ukraine's national security.” The prosecutor's office said in a statement.
