From today, April 20, bank depositors liquidated have the opportunity to receive guaranteed compensation without visiting a bank branch. Privatbank was the first to start paying out deposits online, according to the Deposit Guarantee Fund.
Privatbank noted that in order to receive the guaranteed amount, you need to be a bank customer remotely and pass identification by contacting the bank's customer support, in the online chatbot on the website www.privatbank.ua or in the Internet bank Privat24.

Recall that the initiative to increase the guaranteed amount of reimbursement of bank deposits has long matured. For a long time, the state guaranteed the return of only UAH 200,000 and could not manage to increase the amount of compensation to the first planned UAH 400 and then UAH 600,000.
