Ukraine was announced a partner on June 20.
Ukraine's status as a partner in the Three Seas Initiative will be of great importance not only for the state, in geopolitical and economic terms, but also for ordinary Ukrainians. This is stated in the explanation of the Center for Combating Disinformation, how Ukraine will be affected by the status of a partner in the initiative of the Trimory.
In practical terms, such cooperation will allow Ukraine:
- To unite the regional centers of Ukraine with the transport network of Central and Eastern Europe.
- Integrate into the European railway network.
- Contribute to the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.

There are also important achievements related to the country's energy complex. Yes, the status in the Trimory initiative will allow:
- Export Ukrainian electricity using the interconnector “Poland – Ukraine”.
- Use the potential of national underground gas storage facilities and existing in Ukraine LNG terminals (liquefied natural gas, – ed.).

It will be recalled that the President of Poland A. Duda during the Summit of the Three Seas on June 20 announced the granting of Ukraine the status of a partner.
The Three Seas, known as the Seas (ITM) is an international economic initiative that brings together 12 EU countries along the Baltic, Black and Adriatic Seas. Launched in 2015 by the Presidents of Poland Andrzej Duda and Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, the Three Seas Initiative is in fact the creation of a partnership bloc that unites the Central and Eastern countries. European countries that are members of the EU: the four countries of the Visegrad Group, the Baltic States, Austria, Croatia, Romania, Slovenia and Bulgaria. The main focus of the Initiative is on the development of infrastructure projects.
