Russian President Vladimir Putin said it was possible to start negotiations with Ukraine allegedly thanks to the leader of the Belarusian regime Alexander Lukashenko. And he added that the territory of Belarus itself is “suitable for further contacts”.

” I would like to express my gratitude to the Belarusian colleagues for the good organization of several negotiating rounds on their territory. It became possible to start a dialogue with the Kiev side largely thanks to the personal efforts of President Lukashenko.
