Protests against mobilization began in Russia – the police detained the participants of the actions

In many cities of Russia, rallies against mobilization announced today by President Vladimir Putin.

In particular, the mothers of men of military age come to the rally. The police detain the protesters using force.

People protest with the slogans “No war!” and “Putin in the trenches!”.

Earlier, the Moscow prosecutor's office published a statement warning citizens against participating in protests, threatening them with imprisonment for up to 15 years.

Independent monitoring group OVD-Info reported that as of 7:45 p.m., more than 364 people have been detained in 23 cities. The arrests took place in Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Ulan-Ude, Tomsk, Ufa, Perm, Belgorod, St. Petersburg, and Moscow.

As part of the partial mobilization in The Russian Federation wants to call up 300,000 reservists to fight against Ukraine, said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
