Power outages are planned for seven areas today: the list

Restrictions will apply to all categories of consumers.

are planned in seven regions of Ukraine. They started as early as 6 in the morning, Ukrenergo NEC reported.

Ukrenergo dispatch center provided distribution network operators with volumes to limit electricity supply to all categories of consumers in the Central and Northern regions of the country. Such stabilizing outages are planned in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions.

Controlled power outages for all categories of consumers are necessary to reduce the load on networks, support stable balancing of the energy system, and avoid repeated accidents after the power grids were damaged by missile attacks and drone attacks by the Russians, including the day before. “This gives energy companies the opportunity to restore damaged energy facilities as quickly as possible, balance the system and provide consumers with energy,” Ukrenergo explained.
