Military police from the Netherlands will join the investigation of war crimes of the Russian army in Ukraine. On April 29, the local Cabinet of Ministers plans to make a decision to send specialists to Kyiv.

According to the NOS, the exact number of Dutch police officers arriving in Ukraine is currently unknown. But, according to preliminary information, there will be several dozen. It is expected that they will work in places where war crimes could have been committed and will submit the relevant materials to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. They are already investigating atrocities committed by Russians in Ukraine. In particular, dozens of massacres, a number of tortures and rapes in Bucha, Irpen and other cities. A group of Dutch police officers will stay in Ukraine for a few weeks.
