Poland will pay aid to orphans and women released from captivity in Ukraine

According to him, the Polish government allocated 8 million zlotys (about 64 million UAH) to the Fund. Each child covered by the program will receive 5,700 hryvnias (about 630 zlotys) per month.

Dvorchyk noted that it is not by chance that the foundation bears the name of the blessed Greek Catholic priest Klymentiy Sheptytskyi. He was a clergyman with Polish and Ukrainian roots who saved children persecuted by the Germans during the Second World War.

The head of the Prime Minister's Office added that a website was also launched on Wednesday, where you can apply for help for children who lost their parents during the war.

“During the year, we can provide such grants to 1,600 children . Every child who will be included in this program will receive a monthly allowance,” Dvorchyk said.

He emphasized that the Polish government also wants to help women released from Russian captivity and who experienced trauma there.

“Such women who apply for this program will be able to count on one-time assistance in the amount of 80,000 hryvnias (about 10,000 zlotys), and then on assistance related to psychological and rehabilitation assistance,” the head of the Prem's Office emphasized of the Prime Minister.
