Expansion of support programs also applies to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a resolution expanding financial programs assistance to Ukrainians who do not have IDP status. These are residents of the occupied and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, as well as settlements where active hostilities are taking place. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal, according to the Government portal.

The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers will also regulate the issue of registration of internally displaced persons.

According to Shmygal, the government has launched a number of programs together with international humanitarian organizations to provide monthly support in the amount of 2.2-2.5 thousand hryvnias for IDPs from the most vulnerable social categories. The program will now be expanded.
