One in three Ukrainians believes that leaving home and relatives is wrong now – a poll

Respondents also do not want to leave loved ones.

Every third Ukrainian (38%) thinks that leaving your home at such a time is wrong, unacceptable. This opinion is the number one reason to stay in a place of permanent residence. On the second – the reluctance to leave loved ones. These are the results of a survey conducted by Gradus Research, commissioned by the Kyiv School of Economics.

At the same time, 17% of respondents do not have money to move, 15% plan to stay at home due to age or physical limitations.

Less than 15% of respondents cite the possibility of using shelter, reluctance to leave pets and relative safety at home as reasons to stay at home.

According to the survey, 28% of citizens aged 18 to 60 years changed their place of residence due to the war.

Lack of money to move, age and physical limitations, already feeling safe and insecure about the ability to adapt to a new place – all this is behind us, with a gap of at least 10%. Only 8% said they would like to move during the escalation, but do not have the opportunity.
