North Korea has tested a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile

Contrary to international agreements, do not do this.

Северная Корея испытала межконтинентальную баллистическую ракету нового типа

North Korea tested a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile on March 24, when the attention of the international community is focused on Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Kyodo writes, citing the Japanese Ministry of Defense.

The missile was fired from the east coast of North Korea. It flew 71 minutes, reaching an altitude of more than 6,000 kilometers, which is the longest and highest flight of a North Korean missile.

After covering a distance of 1,100 km, the projectile fell in the Sea of Japan about 150 km west of the Japanese peninsula of Oshima. There has been no information about any damage so far.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has strongly condemned the launch as reckless and unacceptable. During a visit to Brussels for the G7 summit, Kisida said he wanted to reaffirm coordination between members in response to North Korea's repeated ballistic missile launches in violation of UN Security Council resolutions.

Kisida hinted that Japan, along with the United States and South Korea, could impose additional sanctions on North Korea because the missile fell within Japan's economic zone.

The United States has repeatedly called on the DPRK to stop testing missiles , but the DPRK is not listening to its “unfriendly” country.
