Britain will increase tariffs on imports of platinum and palladium from Russia and Belarus. The new sanctions are intended to further weaken Russia's military machine. This was reported by Reuters on May 9.

According to the report, tariffs on platinum and palladium will increase to $ 2.1 billion. Russia is a leading producer of platinum and palladium.

Import tariffs on a number of goods from Russia and Belarus will be increased by 35%. Exports of $ 310 million worth of chemicals, plastics, rubber and various equipment to Russia will also be banned.

A new sanctions law will be passed soon.
