He awarded Pelosi the Order of Princess Olga III degree for significant personal contribution to strengthening Ukrainian-American interstate cooperation, support for a sovereign, independent and democratic Ukraine.
For her part, Nancy Pelosi said that Ukraine is fighting for freedom and the United States must support Kyiv until “the battle is over.” According to a spokesman for the House of Representatives, Ukraine is now a “border of freedom.”
