Most Ukrainians do not believe in the harassment of Russian-speaking citizens

This thesis is especially unpopular in the east of the country.

Большинство украинцев не верят в притеснения русскоязычных сограждан

The majority of Ukrainians, namely 67%, believe that there are no problems between Ukrainian-speaking and Russian-speaking citizens in Ukraine . Such data of the sociological poll were published by the “Rating” group.

Thus, 19% of Ukrainians believe that the language problem exists, but it is not so important and only 12% believe, however, that this issue is a threat to internal security.

Interestingly, theses about the existence of a problem in the language sphere are not popular among the Russian-speaking population, but in the western regions, where Ukrainian dominates in all spheres.

At the same time, according to a preliminary study, only 2% of Ukrainians believe that Russia came to protect Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine, the rest reject this myth.
