The war damaged 86% of Ukrainian companies.
Ukrainian entrepreneurs expect the most from the state tax holidays (37%), as well as assistance with logistics (17%). These results of the survey were published by the research company Gradus Research among 355 owners and managers of small, medium and large businesses in Ukraine.
So, to save their business from closure, 21% of companies have begun the process of industry transformation, 16% already have results and as many plan to join the transformation.
However, difficult times for business are reflected in the salary and procurement fund – only 3-5% of businesses have increased these payments, considering them as social assistance, 14-19% make payments at the pre-war level. The rest either reduced or stopped payments altogether – 39% did not pay wages, and 29% stopped payments to suppliers.
In general, the war has damaged – slowed down, reduced and even stopped – 86% of Ukrainian companies.
The survey was conducted on March 22, 2022 by the research company Gradus Research using the method of self-completion of a questionnaire in a mobile application among the population of cities with a population of more than 50,000 aged 18-60 by gender, age, size of settlement and region. The sample size is 355 respondents.
