More than 50% of Germans are dissatisfied with Chancellor Olaf Scholz's position on the war in Ukraine. According to a weekly poll by the INSA Institute for Public Opinion Research, the head of government's rating among the population is rapidly declining due to the refusal to supply weapons to Ukraine.

According to Focus, 52% of Germans surveyed believe that Scholz is doing poorly in the Russian-Ukrainian war. The citizens of Germany do not share the position of a politician who, despite military aggression by Russia, is trying to maintain relations with Vladimir Putin. 35% of the population still remains on the Chancellor's side. At the same time, 47% believe that Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock is showing a stronger and more consistent position in support of EU sanctions against Russia. 39% of respondents evaluate her work badly during the crisis.

The Social Democratic Party of Germany, of which Scholz is a member, is also losing its influence. Her rating is currently 24%, down 1% from last week.
