The President summed up three months of opposition to the Russian invasion.
During the three months of Ukraine's opposition to the full-scale invasion of Russia by state 15,227 Ukrainian men and women were awarded prizes. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an address dedicated to the results of the 90th day of our country's defense.
“12,550 of them are servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 1801 soldier of the National Guard. 205 border guards. 182 police officers. 167 SBU employees. 138 representatives of the SES. 99 GUR soldiers. 38 employees of the State Special Service. And also – employees of the State Security Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service, NABU, DBR and the Judicial Protection Service, who also contributed to our defense, “- said Zelensky
According to him, 155 citizens of our state were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. 75 of them received it posthumously.
Within three months, Ukrainian defenders managed to deoccupy 1,016 settlements.
“And each of these figures is history. A story of extraordinary courage and self-sacrifice. This is the heroic defense of Mariupol. These are successes in the battles for Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv. This is a heroic defense in the Donbass. It is protection of Odessa, Nikolaev and all our south. These are protests and resistance in those cities and communities of Ukraine that we have yet to release, “the president said.

He stressed that Ukraine was able to survive thanks to tens of thousands of feats of all those who protect it, as well as tens of thousands of lives of our citizens killed by Russian troops.
“Eternal memory to all those who gave their lives for Ukraine”, – Zelensky summed up.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine said that in Donbass Russian troops now have 20 times more equipment than Ukrainian .
