Mongolia will issue residence permits to all willing Russians

In connection with the announcement of mobilization in Russia, many local citizens are trying to flee the country in order not to participate in the war against Ukraine. Some of the states have closed their borders to refugees, but there are still those who are ready to give them asylum. In particular, Mongolia, where they promised to issue residence permits to all Russians who ask for it. This was announced by the head of the Immigration Agency of Mongolia Nerguin Uuganbayar.

The official said there are 56 different categories of residence permits in Mongolia. Citizens of Russia who apply to stay in the country for a certain period of time will be issued the appropriate type of document.

After on September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin < announced the mobilizationfor the war in Ukraine, Mongolia became one of the countries where Russians began to go en masse.
