The Russian occupiers committed thousands of war crimes against the civilian population in the temporarily captured territories of Ukraine. “If we are talking about the Donetsk region, now we have found 268 bodies in the de-occupied territories, of which 175 have been identified. In Kharkiv region, 765 bodies have been found, of which 453 have been preliminarily identified. In Kherson region, 44 bodies have been found, of which three have been identified,” the minister said. .
He noted that all found bodies or remains of bodies will be subjected to DNA examination, but this procedure will take quite a long time, since the queue for it has already stretched to two months ahead.

Earlier it was reported that several were discovered at once in Liman mass burials. The bodies of 34 Ukrainian soldiers were removed from one of the mass graves.
