Milly: The US is more concerned about the transfer of HIMARS ammunition to Ukraine than the systems themselves

The mass media have already reported that the Armed Forces receive more than 20 such anti-aircraft missiles from the West.

Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milli said that the United States is not worried about supplying Ukraine with HIMARS rocket launchers, but about providing us with ammunition for them. He made this statement after the Rammstein-4 video meeting, journalist Jack Detch wrote on his Twitter page.

“The US is closely monitoring Ukraine's consumption of HIMARS munitions, which is of greater concern than the number of launchers: General Mark Milley,” the report said.

The transfer of artillery systems and MLRS to Ukraine from the US and other allies has become an important factor on the battlefield and is gradually changing the course of the war. Thanks to the American artillery, it was possible to stabilize the situation on the front line, it remains tense, but controlled, said the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi.

Thanks to the long-range artillery, the Ukrainian military can destroy enemy warehouses with ammunition, command posts of the occupiers strong> and more effectively counter enemy artillery, in which the enemy still has an advantage.
