The mayor of Bucha Anatoliy Federuk stated that 320 civilians killed during Russian occupation of the city. The chairman told about it in interview to the Voice of America. Of these, 163 people were identified .

“Two more bodies were found shot in the village of Lubyanka. And six bodies were found in the village of Zdvyzhivka, Bucha community. And every day we find new ones. and new bodies of the dead, in different parts of our city – in gardens, in park areas, on the grounds of playgrounds. This, in addition to those already reported by the media, “- says Mr. Anatoly.

Lying in the streets died from bullet wounds, not shrapnel. That is, people were shot with machine guns. 3,700 people remained in the city during the occupation.
