In Belarus and in the regions of Russia, rock salt began to disappear from sale. This was reported by Russian and Belarusian online publications.

“There is a shortage of specific rock salt, finding it on the shelves is not an easy task. Ukrainian salt has disappeared from sale,” the Zerkalo article said about the situation in Belarus.

You can still buy Himalayan salt, but the prices are biting.

In Russia, sales of salt have already been limited by one of the most popular retail chains – “Magnet”.

“In the Magnit retail chain, Iletskaya salt is sold to Tyumen residents in no more than three packs in one hand,” the Russian edition of URA.RU reports.

According to Kommersant, Magnit also restricted sales in the regions to one-handed and a number of other goods – buckwheat, pressed sugar and granulated sugar, wheat flour, sunflower oil and rice. For example, 5 kg of granulated sugar is sold in one package in one hand. Also, no more than 5 kg of chicken carcass and no more than two packs of baby diapers are released.
