The ban will take effect on May 20.
Government of Japan expands the list of goods and technologies banned for export to Russia. In particular, the list includes high-tech equipment, 3D printers, as well as equipment for quantum computing. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.
It is noted that the ban has already been approved by the government and will take effect on May 20.
Japan bans the export of quantum computers to Russia , spare parts therefor, microscopes, modeling equipment (3D printers).
Also banned are equipment for the production of organic LEDs, for the manufacture of microelectromechanical systems and for the production of hydrogen fuel, vacuum pumps, refrigeration equipment and its components, polymers, and numerical program control devices for machine tools.

Earlier it was reported that Japan imposed a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation due to the war in Ukraine. Restrictions will affect both individuals and legal entities from Russia.
The sanctions list of the Japanese government includes 133 individuals from Russia. Among them were Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Deputy Security Council Secretary Rashid Nurgaliyev, most LDNR leaders, businessman Gennady Timchenko and members of his family.
